1. Hierarchical Asset Structure:

• Organize assets with up to 5 levels of groups, allowing for precise categorization and management.
• Support for an almost unlimited number of records per group, accommodating large-scale operations.

2. Advanced Search Capabilities:

• Utilize heuristic searching for efficient identification of assets at Group, Plant, Component, and Sub-Component levels.
• Implement patterned searches for quick location of individual items.

3. Comprehensive Asset Information:

• Store detailed asset descriptions, including a short summary and two pages of free-form or semi-formatted text.
• Record equipment identification based on make, model, serial and arrangement numbers, as well as registration numbers.

• Track capital costs, replacement costs, market value, and multiple hire rates.
• Set and monitor budgets for individual plant items on a yearly or monthly basis.

5. Component and Warranty Management:

• Maintain detailed records of components, including make, model, serial numbers, and oil compartment details.
• Track warranty information for each component, including expiry dates and service meter units.
